Located roughly 10 km north of Xuan Loc district center and approximately  80 km away from Bien Hoa city

Natural land area

The natural land is 12,192.81 hectares, making up 16.77 percent of the entire district land area.

+ It boders with Xuan Thanh commune, Xuan Loc in the north.

+ It boders with Ba Ria Vung Tau province in the south.

+ It boders with Xuan Truong commune, Gia Ray town, Xuan Hiep and Lang Minh communes, Xuan Loc in the west

+ It boders with Xuan Hung and Xuan Hoa communes, Xuan Long in the east.

Administrative units

Xuan Tam commune consists of nine hamlets, including Hamlet 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7, and Gia Ui and Suot Duc hamlets.

Topography

Topography: the commune has flat, hilly and sloping terrains.

Climate

The commune is located in the sub-equatorial tropical monsoon climate zone with two seasons.

Average rainfall: at 1,956 – 2,139 mm per year

Total population: 27.131 people

Number of households: 5,510 families

Ethnicity:

-        Vietnamese: 26,199 people, accounting for 96.6 percent
