passed 30 days without any African swine fever cases. Particularly, People’s

The People’s Committee of Dong Nai province said, an
announcement of no cases of African swine fever has been made thanks to disease
prevention methods, which is mainly applying bio-safety breeding.

Dong Nai province and the first outbreak appeared in Trang Bom district. On

townships with 5,371 livestock households, and about 450,000 pigs were culled,
which has greatly affected production activities and economic losses.
Specifically, the total amount of compensation
needed to support the destruction of pigs infected with African swine fever is
over VND44 billion. However, up to now a support amount of more than VND30
billion has not been provided timely for the people whose pigs are culled.
