Once the planning for land use plan is available,
how land is used will go into order, which contributes to increasing land use
efficiency.
In addition, Quang Trung has such land resources as
groups of black and red soil, which is mainly construction stones with a quite
large reserve and which can be exploited as construction materials to meet the
province’s demand.
Purpose of use: soil is used to develop the crops of
high economic value, especially perennial industrial crops. Therefore, it is
convenient for the development of the crops of high economic value, especially
rubber, coffee and pepper.
3. FOREST RESOURCES
Quang Trung’s forest area is 0.32 ha. With quite
favorable weather conditions for crops, especially perennial trees it brings
high economic efficiency, an average 21.28% per year, 2.19 folds higher than the
district’s average economic growth rate.
4. MINERAL RESOURCES
In addition to land and forest resources, Quang
Trung has a rock quarry located in Nguyen Hue 2 hamlet and Quang Trung commune.
5. PRODUCTS AND TRADITIONAL CRAFTS
Dried bananas, livestock, cultivation, and so on.
6. COMMUNICATIONS
Most of the national post offices have reached each
household in Quang Trung commune.
Quang Trung Post Office is located in Nam Son hamlet
in Quang Trung commune, Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province.
7. TRAFFIC
The National Highway no. 20 with a length of 7
kilometers runs through Quang Trung commune. In general, Quang Trung’s transport
system is in a poor condition and most roads are soil or gravel roads causing
great difficulties in traveling and transporting goods.
Currently, Quang Trung’s economy is mainly based on
agriculture - forestry – fishery whereas its industry - trade - services -
tourism have not developed. Therefore, all levels of committees, sectors, and
local authorities have put forward a number of solutions for overcoming the
current situation.
