​1. INDUSTRY - SMALL INDUSTRY AND HANDICRAFTS

Due to its terrain characteristics and lack of conditions and infrastructure to develop its economy towards industry, Quang Trung’s major economy is still in agriculture. In general, its annual growth rate exceeds set targets.

2. AGRICULTURE - FORESTRY - FISHERY

 

Quang Trung’s total agricultural land area is 3,207.9721 ha including perennial and annual crops. In addition to cultivation, livestock activities are quite developed to create an appropriate structure to support each other in the development process.

At present, Quang Trung has 320,000 chickens, 25,000 pigs, 172 cows, and 595 goats.

3. SERVICES – TRADE - TOURISM

Quang Trung has 521 production households including 5 gas stations, 59 households doing business in industry – small industry and handicrafts; and 95 households doing business in transport.

4. EDUCATION

Quang Trung’s education develops quite well and attracts its greatest attention. Currently, Quang Trung has sufficient educational facilities and qualified human resources, which are capable of meeting people’s learning needs as follows:

+ 4 kindergartens.

+ 3 primary schools.

+ 2 junior high schools.

+ 1 community learning center.

The number of teachers for each grade level:

 

+ Primary schools: 95 teachers.

+ Junior high school: 90 teachers.

+ Kindergartens: 107 teachers.

The number of students for grade level:

+ Primary schools: 1,737 students.

+ Junior high schools: 1,307 students.

+ Kindergartens: 1,225 children.

Quang Trung’s library operates normally and continues to open for its students and Quang Trung’s education is increasingly developing to have its schools meeting national standards.

5. HEALTH

At present, Quang Trung has 1 medical station with 10 doctors and nurses. The station’s medical facilities can take care of patients coming for medical examination and treatment. The commune’s medical station operates normally and it gives examination and treatment to local patients every day.

6. CULTURE

Quang Trung has 1 cultural house including 1 library room, 1 radio room, 1 conference hall, 1 scientific and technological information point for locals.
