The commune’s workforce, industrial potentials and industrial development orientations: the commune has generated jobs for nearly 2,845 laborers in pre-processing and processing of agricultural products, food products, processing animal feeds such as pepper, cashew, coffee, and corn and in some mechanical industries that make wooden furniture, iron doors, garment products, and interior decoration for living and consumption, which have relatively developed and been able to meet consumption market needs but shown limited development possibilities.

Agriculture: the commune’s ​​agricultural land area, fruits of advantages, and raising cattle and poultry:

- Crops of advantages: corn, pepper, cashew and rambutans.

- Cattle and poultry livestock: 20 farms including 16 pig farms with 19,000 pigs, 3 chicken farms with 78,000 chickens, 1 duck farm with 5,000 ducks, and 400 small-and-scattered livestock households.

Forestry: the ​​commune’s forestry land area and forestry development orientation. Xuan Tay is a specific commune of agriculture, which specializes in cultivating annual crops and industrial crops and has no forest development planning and orientation.

Fishery: the commune’s water surface area for aquaculture, annual fishery catches and development orientations. Small-and-scattered fishery farming households have increased their family income but the output is not high; therefore, the commune does not put it into the sector’s structure and development orientation.

+ The commune has 1 cultural post office which is located at hamlet 1, Xuan Tay commune, which has adequate equipment to supply and meet local residents’ demand for postal services.

+ Available services: mail services with receivers’ addresses with a weight up to 2 kg and package and parcel services with a weight up to 5 kg.

+ The commune has a system of radio stations, e-portals, and panels for communications, dissemination of propaganda information, and cultural and sporty activities, which are annually held in various and diverse forms in accordance with the locality’s reality in annual holidays and Tet holidays in the center for culture, sports and community learning, hamlets’ cultural houses, units and schools with the topics. Particularly, musical exchange nights, cultural and artistic contests, and competitions of sports, football, volleyball, badminton, Chinese chess, athletics, folk sports and so on are held to meet people’s life and spiritual needs.
