+ The industrial development orientation: Xuan Tay
focuses on developing industries and small industry and handicrafts with great
potential such as agricultural product processing associated with local raw
materials like corn, cashew, pepper and so on that fit the features and
situation of the commune’s economic development.
+ Xuan Tay develops industries that are closely
combined with service development, agricultural and rural development to ensure
housing conditions for laborers and environment, security and order.
Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery
Agriculture:
Xuan Tay conducts a survey of the areas with
conditions for irrigation water; makes plans to change crop structure; expand
the cultivation area of the winter-spring crop of 2019-2020 period with an
area of 1,309 ha, increasing by 120 ha over the same period: corn: 820 ha; beans
of all kinds: 160 ha; rice: 15 ha; oil crops like sesame and peanuts: 65 ha;
vegetables: 190 ha; tobacco: 15 ha; and other annual crops: 30 ha. Also, Xuan
Tay regularly monitors pests and diseases on annual and perennial plants to
promptly control pests and diseases on plants; mobilizes people to join hands in
building large fields and chains of corn production; strengthens agricultural
promotion and plant protection; coordinate to organize seminars, training
sessions, and transferring science and technology, maintaining the activities of
agricultural promotion programs and cooperative groups; and focus on improving
mixed gardens.
* Forestry:
Xuan Tay commune is a specific area of the
agricultural area specializing in the cultivation of annual crops and industrial
crops without planning or orientation for forestry development.
* Fishery:
+ The water surface for aquaculture: small-scale
aquaculture households increase their family income; the output is not much; and
the commune does not put it into the sector’s structure and development
orientation.
Trade - Services – Tourism:
Xuan Tay effectively performs the task of the State
management in the fields of trade and services; promptly grasps the State’s
industrial promotion policies to support enterprises; actively coordinates with
functional agencies to regularly check local fertilizer agents and varieties;
regularly checks food hygiene and safety at production and business
establishments, and food sales areas at the commune’s markets.
