1. Industry:

Xuan Duong commune’s industrial production value in late 2017 accounted for 13.66%. All the economic sectors in the small industry and handicrafts have shown an increase and a high growth rates. Up to now, there have been 40 handicrafts production establishments which have generated jobs for more than 50 local laborers. It is expected that there will be about 50 small industry and handicrafts production establishments, accounting for 17.3% of the commune’s GDP.

2. Agriculture - Forestry – Fishery:

The agricultural production value in 2017 accounts for 55.45%. The commune’s​​ agricultural production area tends to decrease; however, the application of science and technology measures has brought out high economic efficiency and created jobs for local laborers, improved their income and local residents’ materialistic and spiritual life as well. Thanks to the economic development speed, the agricultural proportion tends to decrease. By 2010, the agricultural sector is estimated to reach 42.5% of the commune’s GDP.

3. Trade - Services – Tourism:

By the end of 2017, there were 253 production, trade and services establishments in the commune, which created jobs for more than 600 laborers in the commune. Thanks to the growth rate of the sector, it is expected the proportion of trade - services is estimated to hit 40.2% into the commune’s GDP by 2020.
