1. Labor force
In the ward there are 1,600 households including 9,236
people, of which 1,959 people are at working age. Fortunately the number of
industry-related workers is quite high, accounting for 53.4 percent. Agricultural
labor takes up 26.4 percent while trade labor is modest, at 11.2 percent and
services 9.0 percent.
2. Land resources:
The ward has the total natural land area of 3,153.67,
including:
+ 2,620.90 hectares of agricultural land, making up 83.1 percent;
+ 285.25 hectares of forestry land, making up 9.04 percent;
+163.15 hectares of specialized land, making up 5.18 percent;
+50,3548 hectares of residential land, making up 1,60 percent;
+33.93 hectares of unused land, making up 1.08 percent.
The ward’s woodland is now of 285.25 hectares, mostly
cajuput and eucalyptus forests grown and harvested by the locals for paper raw
materials, and minerals have not been found.
3. Communications:
Communications system in the ward is very convenient, telephone cable networks are available everywhere. So far there have been 1,200 sets installed per 1,600 households.
In general the communications system is decently-equipped for people to be informed rapidly and sufficiently of domestic and international news as well as the Party’s and State policies in association with rights and interest of people.
4. Transport
Transport systems of the ward were established
before 1975 with road systems built in check pattern, mainly 5-meter wide earth
roads covered with gravels that are connected with National Highway 51 via
6-meter wide asphalt roads. The ward has a total of 3 km of asphalted roads and
38 km of earth roads.
