1. Economic Facts:
Based on the approved plan, Tan
Hanh will be developed into a ward of industry, trade and agriculture in
association with eco-tourism.
Therefore, it is expected than in
2010 the economic structure of agriculture will be 15 percent, including 7-8
percent of cultivation and 8-9 percent of husbandry.
Rice farming areas will gradually
be contracted while the areas for growing fruit trees and fish farming will be
expanded. People will be instructed to turn mixed gardens into orchards and
transform inefficient rice areas, at least 40 hectares, to growing fruit trees
to lay a foundation for future ecotourism.
Industrial production: It is
expected that in 2010 the economic structure of industry will account for 45
percent and the average value of production will increase by 10-15 percent.
Traditional craft and product processing of for tourism are encouraged.
Trade: It is expected that in
2010 the economic structure of will make up 40 percent and the average value of
production will increase by 8-10 percent. Several types of services such as
ecotourism and housing are promoted.
2. Other Schemes:
Investment in infrastructure for
tourism: Upgrading and expanding the road crossing Ba Nghe field;
Investing in water pipes leading
to villages and residential areas;
Investing in the electricity grid
covering Ba Nghe field;
Construction of recreational
zones: building a Culture House, a stadium in Hamlet 1;
Investing in a 40-hectare
orchard planned to develop eco-tourism in Ba Nghe field, Hamlet 4, and about 100
hectares for recreational industry.
3. Social Welfare:
Eradicating all poor households
and preventing the risk of poverty repetition;
Family planning: reducing the
rate of natural population growth to less than one percent;
keeping malnutrition in children
aged 0-5 to less than 10 percent;
Clean water: 100 percent of
households using tap water;
Rural electrification: 100
percent of households using main and secondary meters;
Transport socialization: striving
for 30 percent of roads in the ward to be concreted;
Culture Family- Cultured Village:
striving 95-100 percent families with Culture Family title, preserving the title
of "four cultured villages" to be eligible for a cultured ward;
Maintaining the movement of
illiteracy elimination and educational universalization for many grades;
Retaining national standards on
healthcare;
Creating jobs for the locals,
striving to reduce unemployment rate to less than three percent.
