Buu Hoa ward is planned to
develop into a trade and services locality, as follows:
1. Economic development
An overall orientation is to
gradually reduce rice farming area to raise the area of fruit trees and
vegetables, encouraging the development of ornamental trees and fish. In terms
of husbandry, people are urged to study how to raise high-yield frogs. The ward
sets the goal of having a trade, services, industry and small-handicraft
industries, and agriculture structure, increasing the proportion of services in
its economic structure.
+ The total production value of
industry and small-handicraft industries is expected to increase by 10-15
percent annually.
+ The value of trade and services
grows by 16-20 percent annually.
+ The total production value of
agricultural is deemed to drop by 3-5 percent annually.
2. Other programs
Infrastructure investment: It is
expected that by 2010 Buu Hoa ward will build a resettlement area for the
riverbank landscape area (2009); create the Quarter 3’s children's playground
(2007) and a green park along the river landscape (2009), build the ward’s
Police Station (2006), build Buu Hoa Secondary School (2007), the Quarter 5’s
Preschool (2007), Buu Hoa High School (2009), a football field (2010), Buu Hoa
tourist station (2007), the Quarter 3’s and 5’s residential areas, National
Highway 1B (2007), and a transport system along Dong Nai River landscape (2009).
3. Social programs
The Poverty Reduction Program:
The Population and Family
Planning Program, and the Child Malnutrition Prevention Program: To reduce the
rate of aged 0-5 malnourished children to 11.5 percent.
The Clean Water Program: the
percentage of households using clean and hygienic water has reached 98 percent.
The Electrification Program: to
maintain 100 percent households using electricity and 98 percent of households
having main electric meters installed.
The Traffic Socialization
Program: for the remaining alleys.
The Educational Universalization
Program: to effectively operate the Community Learning Center and prepare for
receiving the Information Technology Project transferred by the province.
The Cultured Families and
Quarters Program:
The Job Creation Program: to get
575 or more people employed.
