The provincial leaders are visiting the agricultural
product counter of Dong Nai province
During the training course, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran
Van On, an expert of the “One Commune - One Product” Program, introduced
trainees an overview of the “One Commune - One Product” Program; the set of
criteria for assessment, product ranking, product ideas, and experience in
launching the “One Commune - One Product” Program. Accordingly, Dong Nai’s
annual “one commune - one product” cycle has 6 steps: propaganda and guidance –
receiving product ideas - receiving business plans - deploying business plans
after approval – taking part in district and provincial level product assessment
contests - trade promotion.
In addition to theory, the training class made a
field trip to learn the experience in launching the “One Commune - One Product”
Program in Ben Tre province. Through the training course, trainees would
identify the target role of the “One Commune - One Product” Program, which is
associated with developing a commodity production and studying and selecting the
key products for the development of agricultural products associated with
tourism development; and focusing on vocational training associated with the
development of local products.
