Earlier, in mid-July the provincial Assessment
Council for the New Countryside convened a meeting to assess and recognize the
above five communes meeting met to consider proposing and the improved new
countryside criteria. Assessment indicated that all five communes have seen
significant development and changes compared to the time when they met
requirements for the new countryside .
The highlight is that these five communes’ average
income per capita in 2018 attained more than VND61 million/person/year (much
higher than the average income of VND51.59 million of the province’s rural
communes.
Up to now, 31 communes in the province have
satisfied all the improved new countryside criteria with 11 out of 11 districts
and cities meeting the new countryside criteria.
