Tan has a natural area of 1,063 ha (10.63 sqm): 901.4 ha of agricultural land,
accounting for 84.8%; 161.6 ha of non-agricultural land, accounting for 15.2%.
The
land potential for construction and development of the residential areas in Xuan
Tan is very large thanks to its soil conditions and good climate and it is also
close to the center of Long Khanh town, which has made many people choose Xuan
Tan as a place to build their houses, settle, and do their business and
production activities.

LANDSCAPE, TOURISM, AND HISTORIC SITES
Xuan
Tan has a resettlement area with a complete infrastructure, Long Chien Vien
tourist attraction, Le Hoang rest stop on an area of more than 20 ha. At
present, a lot of domestic investors have poured their investment in Xuan Tan
and made significant contributions to the development of trade, services and
industries in both Long Khanh town and Dong Nai province.

Tan has a post office under Dong Nai Post and Telecommunication Company and 3
Internet points. Xuan Tan’s subscribers of fixed telephones and Internet
services have amounted to 90 per 100 people, meeting the public communication
needs. Xuan Tan also has a radio system with 20 loudspeakers scattered all over
3 hamlets.

TRANSPORT
Xuan Tan is a commune adjacent to
the wards in Long Khanh town, and it has an intersection at the Tan Phong
T-junction between the National Highway 1A and the National Highway 56, which is
a key route connecting all the neighboring communes, districts and provinces and
the inter-district, inter-hamlet and internal roads that are fully asphalted and
concreted, facilitating the transport of people’s goods and meeting people's
travel needs.
