simultaneously having waste treated well.

AGRICULTURE
Promoting Xuan Tan’s strengths through such main crops as durians, rambutans,
coffee, pepper, mangosteens, and so on; focusing on building the for the
demonstration of high-yield and high-quality orchard models that bring back the
income of over VND200 million/ha and that can be replicated all over the
commune; simultaneously offering regular training on how to study and apply
scientific and technological advances and biotechnology to the production
process from selecting and caring for varieties to harvesting and preserving
products; continuing to call for farmers to change their crop structure in
accordance with planning and soil and climatic conditions to make the products
that the market needs; planting fruit trees towards GAP, especially durians
accordance with Long Khanh town’s plans; actively mobilizing people to
participate in the program of building large sample fields and connecting
production activities among cooperatives and cooperative groups; and combining
cultivation with agricultural services and ecological orchard tourism.

TRADE – SERVICES
Creating conditions for strong development of various types of local trade and
services to build a trade and service complex and a high-quality fruit and
vegetable business area in association with the building of Long Khanh’s fruit
brand name and the development of services and ecological orchard tourism;
calling for small businesses to connect their business activities and diversify
their products; building the awareness of healthy, civilized and cultural
business to combat commercial frauds and tax evasion, and ensure food safety and
hygiene; and improving the management and operation of Xuan Tan’s markets, and
maintaining cultural market criteria.
