1. INDUSTRY AND
SMALL-HANDICRAFT INDUSTRIES
Business operations of some
typical enterprises: There are 160 business establishments in the commune, of
which 11 are limited companies, 149 are small and medium-sized enterprises. The
business situation and production of enterprises is generally stable.
Labor force, industrial
potential and industrial development orientations of the commune: As of the
beginning of 2018, the commune has 5,358 households with 24,853 people, of whom,
the number of working-age people was 16,305, industrial workers 6,496,
agriculture 6,168, trade and services 2,708, making up 93.42 percent of the
labor force.
2. AGRO-FORESTRY AND
FISHERY
Agriculture: The total land
area of the commune is 2,960.7 hectares, of which there are 440 hectares of
rice, 288 hectares of corn, 1,242 hectares of cassava, 45 hectares of sweet
potato and 44 hectares of beans. Annual industrial trees cover 119 hectares;
food crops span 432 hectares and perennial trees stretch 3,625 hectares.
Animal husbandry has developed
rapidly in both size and quality. There are 90 buffaloes, 2,625 cows, 1,265
cows, 66,540 pigs, 31,862 poultry (including 15,780 chickens and 16,082 ducks).
Forestry: There are 664
hectares of forestation land managed by the commune; and 1,069 hectares of
forest managed by the forest, 973.91 hectares out of the forestry planning, of
which 3,688.63 hectares of forest for the region’s national shooting arena and
the rest is forestation areas by households.
Fishery: The area of
aquaculture is 89 hectares, expected to reach 115 hectares by 2020.
3. TRADE, TOURISM AND
SERVICES
The structure of labor in the
commune: The number of people in the working age is 16,305, in which, the number
of industrial workers is 6,496, agricultural labor 6,168 people, trade and
services 2,708 people, making up 93.42 percent of the labor force. The value of
products in 2017 was VND220 billion, making up 11.9 percent.
The commune
has 711 trade and service establishments. There are 11 limited companies and
enterprises, 700 small and medium-sized enterprises. Companies and businesses
increase their size and turnover year by year to meet the demand of production
and consumption.

4. EDUCATION
There are six schools in the
commune:
- Xuan Hung High School
- Nguyen Cong Tru Secondary

- Xuan Hung Primary School
- Xuan Hung Kindergarten
The number of
teachers at each grade-level: the high schools has 86 teachers and employees,
the secondary school has 91 teachers and employees, the primary schools have 154
teachers and employees, and the kindergarten has 71 teachers and employees.
The number of students by grade-level:
+ Preschool: There are 21 classes with 756 children.
+ Primary: There are 75 classes with 2,303 pupils.
+ Secondary: There are 41 classes with 1,642
students.
+ High school: There are 36 classes with 1,582
students
At present the number of
students attending classes every year reaches the set target. School facilities
and equipment are regularly invested and equipped. The commune met the primary
education universalization standards in 1998 and the secondary education
universalization standards in 2003. The annual graduation rate hits 95 to 98
percent.

HEALTH
The commune has one health
station built in 2007 with the number of medical staff serving at the station
including nine people, including one practitioner. There are three physicians,
two midwives, two nurses and one pharmacist.
The commune Health Station
performs the initial medical examination and treatment for people. The national
health programs, preventive medicine are widely deployed to the hamlets, and
achieved high efficiency. The commune was recognized to meet National Standards
in Health in 2007.

CULTURE
The commune has one Center for
Culture-Sports and Community Learning with an area of 4,620 m2, which was
built in 2005, with one director, three deputy directors, one accountant, one
cashier and one guard.
Information on the Communal
Cultural Post Office: The commune has one Cultural Post Office, operating
regularly and meeting the needs of people.
Cultural activities in the
commune: Organizing cultural and artistic activities, physical training and
sports, opening short-term vocational training courses for rural laborers,
organizing training courses and seminars, agricultural and industrial extension
programs, attracting more than 1,000 participants annually.
At the Center
for Culture-Sports and Community Learning there are Scientific and Technological
Information Access Points that have operated effectively, well performing
propaganda programs and updating local activities to the website.
The purpose of the Scientific and Technological Information
Access Points is to provide free scientific and rural technology video
databases, questionnaires on pests on plants and livestock, and information
related to daily life and production of people.
