1. Industry – small industry and handicrafts:
At present, Xuan Bao has only 1 petroleum production
and business establishment.
The commune’s workforce is about 65% with the
facilities of production and trade, services, small industry - handicrafts,
making “bun”, making iron doors, garment, removing skin of cashew nuts, and
cultivating mushrooms; and so.
2. Agriculture, forestry and fishery:
The commune’s agricultural land area was 1933.5 ha,
which is mainly planted with such fruit trees as custard apples, avocadoes,
rambutans, and durians. In addition, there are a number of pig farms in the
commune.
Fishery: there is a lake and a stream of 55.5 ha for
fish farming and is currently under the province’s management with a production
of 100 tons of carp.
3. Services, trade and tourism:
The communes’ labor structure is about 65% and the
annual value of products reaches about VND30 - VND900 billion.
4. Education:
Xuan Bao’s education is still local people’s concern
as well as that of all levels of authorities. Currently, the commune has quite
adequate facilities for educational needs.
Specifically: Xuan Bao kindergarten; My Hanh and Nam
Ha primary schools; Xuan Bao secondary school.
The number of teachers by grade levels:
Kindergartens: 19 teachers.
Primary schools: 38 teachers.
Secondary schools: 29 teachers.
The number of students by grade levels:
Kindergartens: 264 students.
Primary schools: 748 students.
Secondary schools: 439 students.
5. Health:
The commune has 1 medical station with 8 staffs
including 1 doctor. Due to locals’ growing needs, Xuan Bao is currently planning
part of the medical station in the area with 12 models in Tan Hanh hamlet to
meet locals’ needs for medical examination and treatment.
6. Culture:
Xuan Bao has 1 cultural house.
Currently, Xuan Bao has a road system of 3 km,
thereby helping its people to timely grasp information.
Currently, the commune has 1 central post office
which is a level-4 house on an area of 100 sqm without facilities. Due to its
ineffective operation, the post office has been left unused up to now.
