Scale and operation of industrial
parks in Long Thanh Industrial Park: Located on an important traffic hub of the
Southern key economic region, Dong Nai has a number of favorable conditions in
terms of roads, waterways and air to lure investment and foster socio-economic
development. Recognizing them, for many years the transport sector has been
striving to build a complete transport system to promptly satisfy the local and
regional socioeconomic development needs.

Priority fields include plating
industry; processing aquatic products; plant protection chemicals production
(industrial wastewater generated); fertilizer production (industrial wastewater
generated); and pulp production.

Telecommunication Materials JSC (SACOM); Dae Myung Chemical Vietnam Co., Ltd.;
and Kim Bao Son International (Vietnam) Co., Ltd.
2. Agro-forestry and fishery
Agriculture: the area of
agricultural land, crops (fruit) with advantages in agriculture and poultry
situation in the commune:
The yield of rice in the
Winter-Spring rice harvest is on average 5.5 tons per ha (800 ha) and the
average yield of the Summer-Autumn harvest is 5 tons (400 ha).
Total herd of cattle and poultry
in 2019: 300 heads of cattle, 450 pigs, 5000 chickens, chickens and 13,000 ducks
(excluding the figures of cooperative groups).
An Dinh Livestock Cooperative
Group which has 12 investment members is operating effectively with the raising,
buying, selling, and transporting of duck flesh and laying ducks. Every year An
Dinh Cooperative Group provides 18,000 heads.

The commune's economy has shifted
towards industry - services - agriculture, in Long Thanh Industrial Park, there
are 97 existing projects attracting more than 12,000 workers. Thereby the
accommodation rental services also strongly grow. The number of households doing
business in services up to now is 542, including 229 hotels and 313
establishments providing other services with 2,543 rooms. The groceries selling
essential goods also thrive. In agricultural production scientific and technical
advances have been applied to result in higher yields.
4. Education

5. Health
Number of medical staff working
at the communal health station: 6 health workers and one doctor;
The health station facts: it was
established in 1990, ensuring enough departments and area to perform assigned
functions and tasks. There are 9 departments, including Administration
Department; Checkup Department; First-Aid & Emergency Department; Vaccination
Department; Traditional Medicine & Pharmacy Department; and Delivery or Family
Planning Department.
At present health services
effectively meet the medial checkup and treatment need of the locals.
6. Culture

& Community Learning
The commune’s Culture, Sports &
Community Learning Center is located in Hamlet 5, Tam An commune. It was built
in 2011 with construction cost of VND4.2 billion, consisting of a hall of 200
seats and 5 dedicate rooms, including: Community Learning Room, Library,
Directors’ Room (shared with Tam An Cooperative), Sound and Radio Room, Room for
Clubs (Vovinam, Karate , Traditional Martial Arts and Aerobic); number of
performance collaborators: 20 people.
The commune’s Cultural Post
Office was established in 1990, providing postal, parcel, telephone, fax
services and new services of Post and Telecommunications.
Cultural and performance
activities: Propagandas for political duties: 12 campaigns a year; mass
performance shows: 4 shows a year; maintaining regular activities of 5 clubs;
libraries, newspapers and book reading rooms: operating well; activities of
building cultured families, cultured villages, cultured lifestyles, preserving
national culture; attracting people to enjoy and participate in cultural and
creative activities.
7. Sports activities
Children in residential areas are
urged to participate in cultural and sporting events: reaching 30 percent of the
time.
There are 2 badminton courts, 2
football fields including one mini, 5 volleyball courts, 3 gyms, 2 children's
playgrounds, one swimming pool, providing people of all ages in the commune with
appropriate forms of entertainment.
