1. AGRICULTURE
Continuing to speed up the
development, and use of intensive farming methods, crop restructuring, applying
scientific and technical advances to increase economic efficiency; surveying the
number of abandoned rice areas to make plans for them to be put into use;
expanding rubber tree growing area, covering the one crop rice area with
forestry trees and vegetables.
Encouraging the building of many
concentrated husbandry models in households, replicating small-scale household
husbandry models, rapidly increasing herds of dairy cows, pigs and chickens.
Calling for investment, creating
favorable conditions for all economic sectors to develop agricultural product
processing and building materials production industries.
2. INDUSTRY,
SMALL-HANDICRAFT INDUSTRIES, AND TRADE AND SERVICES
Promoting the expansion of
existing establishments, taking advantage of the government support to build new
industrial, small-handicraft, trade and service establishments in the commune
with stably planned zones.
Diversifying types of trade and
services; completing of the roads targeted in the Congress Resolution,
encouraging households to buy freight trucks and passenger cars, etc.
Therefore, it requires investment
in science and technology as well as resources to implement the commune’s and
district’s proposed goals to tap into available internal resources and call for
investment.
3. CULTURE,
EDUCATION AND HEALTHCARE
+ Culture:
Promoting the achievements in the past 3 years of Long An Secondary School,
the Primary School and the Kindergarten, maintaining the rate of students
attending classes, passing classes and graduating from primary schools,
fulfilling the education socialization, improving the effectiveness of the Study
Promotion Association, building the Community Learning Center, finishing the
high school universalization, completing targets of the Resolution as well as of
the sector.

Education: The commune school system has met the current needs of
the commune and surrounding localities. There are one secondary school (Total
number of teachers: 45; female: 28; number of classes: 32; one primary school
(Total number of teachers: 40; female: 35; number of classes: 29; total number
of students: 832; female: 391; with prescribed curricula, teachers updating
books and preparing lesson plans for all subjects), and one preschool (total
number of teachers: 12; total number of classes: 6; total number of students:
210; with the prescribed curricula, and teachers teaching children to practice
singing, writing according to the curricula.)
+ Healthcare:
Improving the quality of the healthcare network from commune to villages,
effectively taking primary care for people’s health, completing national health
target programs, preventing and controlling epidemics, strengthening the
management of food safety and hygiene, and environmental hygiene.
