Due to its specific characteristics,
Lam San commune has no advantages of developing industry – small industry and
handicrafts towards forming a concentrated production area, so according to the
orientation until 2020 the commune’s industry – small industry and handicrafts
will develop based on the scale of households, businesses, and private
production facilities.
Agriculture, forestry and fishery
Lam San commune has the strengths of
planting perennial industrial crops such as coffee, cashew, pepper, rubber, and
so on and specialty fruit trees like bananas, mangoes, custard apples, oranges,
tangerines, and so on to form a specialized farming area and focus on improving
the productivity and quality of good products to compete with others on the
market.
Focusing on developing such
perennial industrial crops as rubber, cashew and pepper in existing areas. The
places for planting trees have a low area and are mainly concentrated in
existing fields that are not planned for further expansion.
Planning and developing a livestock
system that is planned in 5 areas in hamlets 1, 3, 5 and 6 with a total area of
480 ha.
Trade – Services – tourism:
Upgrading the market in the
commune’s center and building a new one at hamlet 5 to form goods supply points
for household-sized people’s life.
Planning Song Ray lake ecotourism
attraction on an area of 5 ha for the commune’s tourism, and planning a
production site in hamlet 4 on an area of 10 ha.
