Industry and
small-handicraft industries
The operations of some typical
enterprises:
- There are 35 companies and
enterprises located in the commune, mostly involved in trading and agricultural
product processing (such as cashew, pepper, etc.);
- Labor force, industrial
potential and industrial development orientations of the commune: Encouraging
and creating conditions for small and medium enterprises to maintain and
develop; increasing the value, proportion of industrial production in the
commune (to account for over 38% of the production value).
Agro-forestry and fishery
Agriculture: The area of
agricultural land in the commune, the trees (fruit crops) with agricultural
advantage, and the situation of animal husbandry in the commune:
- The situation of agricultural
production: Area: 4228.11 hectares, accounting for 89.71 percent of the total
area of the commune; fruit crops with advantage such as cashew, mango, pepper,
banana, etc.
- Animal husbandry: The total
herd of buffaloes and cows: 1,752 animals, up 87 over the same period; poultry:
959,855 birds, down 20,723 over the same period (a decrease in quails),
including 650,380 chickens, 3,705 ducks, 305,770 quails. During the year the
commune has sprayed disinfectants, mobilized people in additional vaccination,
animal shed disinfection and disease prevention; and coordinated with the
inter-branch inspection teams of the district to regularly inspect the poultry
and cattle slaughtering control and handle violations according to regulations.
Forestry: The area of
forestry land, and the situation as well as direction of forestry development in
the commune: Forestry area is 1470.07 hectares, mainly growing the protection
forest, cajuput and hybrid acacia catch-crop.
Trade, tourism and services
Labor structure of the commune,
trade and services situation in the commune, product value in the year:
- Labor structure: Agriculture
- forestry labor accounts for 44.2 percent; industry – handicraft 26.93 percent;
and trade and services 28.87 percent.
- There are 712 establishments
for production, business and services in the commune with over 2,230
employees. Individual businesses and services attract more than 830 employees.
In general, agriculture, industry, small and handicraft industries, trade and
services in the commune have continuously developed, contributing to improving
people's living and income.
- Tourist attractions, relics
and beauty-spots of the commune, and the orientation of tourism development:
Chua Chan mountain scenic spot attracts a great number of tourists every year.
Education
List of
schools in the commune: There are fours schools (including Le Loi Secondary
School, Xuan Truong Primary School, Le Van Tam Primary School, Xuan Truong
Kindergarten).
The number of teachers at each
grade-level: there are a total of 204 cadre, employees and teachers.
The number of students at each
grade-level: Xuan Truong Kindergarten: 582 children; Primary school pupils:
1,373 pupils; Le Loi Secondary School: 944 students.
Information on the Communal
Library: there are three libraries respectively located at Xuan Truong Primary
School, Le Van Tam Primary School, Le Loi Secondary School.
Educational facts: 4 out of 4
schools meet the national standards on illiteracy eradication, primary education
universalization at the right age, secondary education universalization still
well maintained.
Health
The number of medical staffs
serving at the commune health station: Human resources includes ten people,
including one practitioner, one physician, one traditional medicine physician,
one pharmacist, one midwife, four nurses, one family planning officer.
Information on the commune’s
Health Station: The Xuan Truong Commune Health Station was established in 1993
and covers over 1,000 m2. In 2016, the station was built with a total
construction cost of VND10 billion, including 14 offices, five beds with
facilities to meet the needs of people.
Healthcare service facts: In
the first quarter of 2018 the commune’s Health Station had medical examination
and treatment for 3,323 people, including 1,133 elderly people Chinese medicine
and 1790 people with western medicine and vaccinated 945 Under-6-year- old
children, making up 100 percent.
Culture
Information on the Communal Cultural Houses: There are one Center for
Culture-Sports and Community Learning and eight hamlet-level Cultural Houses.
- The Communal Cultural Center: One director, three deputy directors, one
accountant and one cashier.
- The Cultural Houses of the hamlets have the Board of Directors in charge of
planning and scheduling.
Information on the Communal
Cultural Post Office: There is one Communal Post Office located in Trung Tin
Hamlet, Xuan Truong Commune, Xuan Loc District, Dong Nai Province.
Cultural
Activities in the commune: Cultural institutions include one private mini
football field, six private volleyball fields, one volleyball court at Trung Son
Chau Ro Ethnic Cultural House, two badminton courts, and two ping pong courts at
the Center for Culture-Sports and Community Learning, eight
fitness kits located in the commune’s flower garden. Every year, the commune
organizes six to seven sports competitions and participates in all of the sports
events organized by the district. On the fifth day of the third lunar month the
Prayer for Rain Festival was held at the Chau Ro Ethnic
Cultural House with the participation of more than 200 people.
