Vinh An town is located in the center of Vinh Cuu’s district, and 36 kilometers away from Bien Hoa city. It has a total natural land area of 3,294.18 ha.

Vinh An town borders Ma Da commune and Tri An Lake of Vinh Cuu district in Dong Nai province to the north; Cay Gao commune of Trang Bom district in Dong Nai province to the south; Vinh Tan commune of Vinh Cuu district in Dong Nai province to the west; Tri An Lake of Vinh Cuu disitrict in Dong Nai province to the east.
