Industry:

+ Developing industries is the driving force for economic growth and economic restructuring, labor structure transformation and planning for the development of concentrated residential areas.

+ Focusing on developing the industry and small industry and handicrafts with such potential advantages as agro-food processing industry associated with local raw materials like coffee, cashew nuts, pepper, specialty fruit trees and associated with the commune’s local economic development characteristics.

+ Developing industries is closely combined with services development, agricultural and rural development, ensuring housing conditions for laborers and ensuring requirements for environment, security and order.

Agriculture, forestry and fishery:

+ Striving to achieve an annual growth rate of production value of agriculture and forestry from 5.5% to 6%.

+ Stabilizing the area of growing crops; promoting the application of scientific and technological advances to production and labor; forming the regions specializing in the production of high quality agricultural products and fruit trees; and implementing a chain of making and consuming Vietnamese GAP products.

+ Implementing a rational crop restructuring towards commodity production that is suitable for markets; and associating agricultural production with the processing industry.

+ Developing agriculture is closely associated with improving materialistic and living standards: expanding people’s knowledge; eradicating hunger and reducing poverty, and gradually narrowing the gap in rural living standards between rural and urban areas.

+ Exploiting the potential of agricultural production associated with the development of the model of eco-garden tourism; improving the quality of agricultural products; introducing and promoting special fruit products, and the culture, history, people of Thua Duc to domestic and foreign tourists; and creating a breakthrough in local economic development.

Trade, services and tourism:

+ Promoting the development of the State enterprises trading in tourism and trade services; encouraging development and strengthening the management of non-state trade and services.

+ Arranging, planning and developing according to the planning in the fields of markets, petroleum, slaughtering activities, boarding house rental services, trading in construction materials, supplying agricultural materials and consuming agricultural products and so.

+ Encouraging the development of a system of investment services and and the services to provide technical advances in production; planning to develop and exploit local tourism potential; developing accompanying services; supplying labor and generating jobs in association with poverty reduction policies.

+ Stepping up trade commercial promotion, and creating conditions for goods exchanges to expand consumption and export markets for local agricultural products.
