1. GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
Suoi Tre is 1 km from the center of Long Khanh town
and 40 km from Bien Hoa city to the east. Suoi Tre has a temperate climate with
an average temperature of 25 - 35 Celsius degrees, and it is cooler than Bien
Hoa city. Particularly, Suoi Tre has its advantages of transport with the major
routes going through itself like the National Highway 1. Xuoi Tre borders on the
Ho Chi Minh City - Dau Day Expressway, is 5 km from the National Highway 56 to
the south, is 5 km from the National Highway 20 to the west, and is adjacent to
the inter-district road of Long Khanh - Thong Nhat.

Introduction of Suoi Tre’s landscape:
Suoi Tre is located along the National Highway 1A,
and it is 80 km from Ho Chi Minh city to the northeast. This place used to be
dubbed “Da Lat of the Eastern Region”. Suoi Tre was formed in the early years of
the 20th century as when the French capitalists arrived in Vietnam and built up
rubber plantations. Suoi Tre is a place with a temperate climate, a strange
terrain, and enjoys natural favorable conditions; therefore, it kept the French
here and they focused on exploitation and made this place a very special
recreation resort. This area is over ten hectares large and it has many hills
and is surrounded by streams and green lines of bamboos. Previously, a spacious,
cool, and fully comfortable villa with the French architecture, which created a
residential complex for the owners of to the rubber plantations of SIPH.
Suoi Tre’s reality and tourists:
Suoi Tre is in the midst of the cool rubber forests
intermingled with hills and many century - old trees with huge foliage, which
makes it look like a small Da Lat and brings its own beauty. Around the villas
is a vast forest of populus, which always whispers and offers shadow together
with many ancient trees that have stayed here for centuries. The central area is
a flat land area with restaurants, tennis courts and many other games.

Suoi Tre has 3,302 households and a population of
14,196 people including 11,676 permanent residents and 2,520 temporary
residents.
Suoi Tre’s ethnic minority groups make up 2.7% of
its total population including Khmer, Cham, Tay, Chinese, K'Hor, Choro, and Nung.
Religions: Buddhism and Christianity.
