Quang Tien commune is located in the west of the center of Trang Bom’s district, and 1 kilometer away from the district center. The natural land area is 710.13 ha, accounting for 2.02% of the district’s area.

Quang Tien commune borders Trang Bom town of Trang Bom district in Dong Nai province to the north; Giang Dien commune of Trang Bom district in Dong Nai province to the south; Binh Minh commune of Trang Bom district in Dong Nai province to the west; Doi 61 commune and Trang Bom town of Trang Bom disitrict in Dong Nai province to the east.
