1. Major development objectives:

Phuoc  Thien’s economic structure until 2020: Agriculture: 15%; Small Industry and Handicrafts: 15%, Trade, Services, and Industry: 70%; Average income per capita: VND62,000,000/year; and Mobilized capital for investment and development: VND10,000,000,000 including VND3,000,000,000 from people. The proportion of collected tax and fee into the State budget has increased by an average of 5.5% annually.

100% households in Phuoc Thien are using electricity and clean and hygienic water; its poverty households have reduced to 1%; the population growth rate until 2025 will reach below 1%; the employees with stable jobs account for 70%’; and seasonal workers from 29%.

2. Agriculture - Forestry - Fishery:

According to the land use planning until 2020.

+ Phuoc Thien needs to maintain a stable number of herds of water buffaloes, cows, and poultry and increase the number of pigs.

3. Trade - Services - Tourism:

+ Phuoc Thien needs to create conditions for organizations and individuals of all economic sectors to invest in production and business activities in the areas of trade and services; and create conditions for production and business facilities to establish new branches or invest in expanding their operation scale with various forms of bringing their products, goods and services to the countryside.
