Long Tho is approximately 40 km from Bien Hoa city, which is quite far and makes it difficult for the commune’s people to commute to Bien Hoa city many times a day.

Long Tho has a total natural land area of ​​ 2,427 ha and quite a lot of natural land, which will bring great benefits to locals if this land area is made good use of. Long Tho’s administrative boundary is as follows:

- Long Tho borders on Hiep Phuoc commune in Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province to the north, which makes it convenient two communes’ people to travel, trade and have exchanges.

- Long Tho borders on Phuoc An commune in Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province to the south, which makes it convenient two communes’ people to travel, trade and have exchanges.

Most of the commune’s ethnic minority groups are the Kinh.
