4. Transport:
- Waterway transport: Long Tan faces a length of 12
km of Dong Nai river and is adjacent to the flow of Saigon river, Ho Chi Minh
city, which is convenient for waterway transport and for ships and boats to
travel and exchange goods exchange. The commune has a container transshipment
harbor to transport goods to the industrial zones in Nhon Trach district to
create favorable conditions for the economic development of key areas and
international integration.
- Long Tan has approximately 10 km of roads, Road
25A, and Road No. 02 with favorable traffic conditions from the commune to its
hamlets, and is located near the center of Nhon Trach district, which makes it
pretty convenient to have transactions with the other provinces and cities
nationwide, transport goods, and do business for economic development.
- Thanks to the support of the State budget and
people’s contributions, Long Tan’s transport system has been asphalted and rural
roads have been improved and concreted to facilitate people’s travel.
- The system of inter-field canals has a length of
3,500 m, which creates a water supply system in the dry season for households to
bring water to their fields.
