1. Geographical location:
Xuan Thanh ward is located in the heart of Long
Khanh town and is 55 km from Bien Hoa city.
Natural land area:
Xuan Thanh has the natural land area of 218.92 ha,
accounting for 1.14% of the district’s land area. It borders Xuan An and Xuan
Binh wards in Long Khanh town, Dong Nai province; Phu Binh ward in Long Khanh
town, Dong Nai province on the south; Xuan Binh ward in Long Khanh town, Dong
Nai province on the west; and Bau Tram commune in Xuan Loc district, Dong Nai
province on the east.

Terrain:
The commune has a pretty flat terrain, which is
slightly wavy and sloppy from southwest – north and it has a relative height of
150 meters above the sea level.

The commune is located in the tropical monsoon
climate zone with two seasons and with the rainy season from May to November,
the dry season from December to April, the average temperature of between 25 and
26 Celsius degrees, rainfall of 2,150 mm, humidity between 85% and 90% (70% -
75% in the dry season), the average temperature of 25 - 26 Celsius degrees, the
highest temperature of 34 - 35 Celsius degrees, and the lowest temperature of 19
- 20 Celsius degrees.

Xuan Thanh ward was established on January 1, 2004
and it has historical areas and victories of its people.

Total population: 8,528 people, 1,882 households
including 5 Choro ethnic households, 4 Khmer ethnic households, 2 Nung ethnic
households, 19 Chinese Vietnamese households. Xuan Thanh has 567 Buddhism
households, 401 Catholic households, 2 Protestant households, and 5 Caodaism
households.
