Nhat district. Bau Ham has a total area of 2,019 ha with a natural land area
of 2,018.9 ha, accounting for 12.63% of the district’s land area.
+ Bau Ham 2 borders Quang Trung commune in Thong
Nhat district and Song Nhan commune in Cam My district, Dong Nai province to the
north;
+ Bau Ham 2 borders Lo 25 commune in Thong Nhat
district, Dong Nai province to the south;
+ Bau Ham 2 borders Hung Loc commune, Thong Nhat
district, Dong Nai province to the west;
+ Bau Ham 2 borders Xuan Thanh commune, Thong Nhat
district, Dong Nai province to the east.

5. CULTURAL HISTORY
Bau Ham 2 commune has been established since the
establishment of the former Thong Nhat district and it was established before
the day when the South was completely liberated in October 1973. Particularly,
Ngo Quyen and Nguyen Thai Hoc hamlets were the revolutionary base of the
resistance war against the US army and the leader of local activities until
April 30, 1975. Since then, the revolutionary authorities of Bau Ham 2 commune
have continued to operate until 1979 and then Tran Cao Van, Phan Boi Chau and Lo
25 hamlets of Xuan Thanh communes were added and become today’s Bau Ham 2
communes.
Bau Ham 2 has 2 historical sites that have been
recognized as a provincial-level historical sites: the first rubber gardens in
Dau Giay rubber plantation and Dau Giay communal house.

Bau Ham 2 has a total population of 23,482 people
including 11,362 males and 19,217 females.

Ethnic minority groups: the majority is Kinh people,
accounting for 89.8% and other ethnic minority groups account for 10.2%.

Catholicism, Protestantism and Caodaism.
