Inspection of food safety is conducted in facilities
Dong Nai province’s Steering Committee for Food
Safety had a working session on food safety and hygiene in Cam My district.
With the theme of the “Action month for food safety
in 2020”, localities have promoted the dissemination of propaganda information
on quality, safety and being proactive to prevent food pollution and minimize
food poisoning. Simultaneously, it is necessary to promote the sense of
responsibility of individuals and organizations doing business and production
activities, and consumers towards ensuring food safety and hygiene. In terms of
the food safety and hygiene inspection program in Cam My district, the
district’s Steering Committee said, during the action month for food safety
local business, trading, production and consumption activities were suspended
due to the impact of COVID – 19. Thus, functional forces have only disseminated
information on loudspeakers and stations and signed agreements on how to ensure
food safety and hygiene with business facilities and stores trading and
processing types of food.
To continue improving the management of food safety,
localities need to continue strengthening their dissemination of propaganda
information and activities, closely monitor the origin of goods traded and
circulated locally, especially when trading activities have become active after
the period of social distancing.
