2. LAND

Total natural land area: 231.7 ha.

Agricultural land area: 126.81 ha - 54.7%.

The special-use and residential land area: 104.9 ha - 45.3%.

The reality of land use: Phu Binh’s land is relatively favorable for agricultural production and perennial trees and climatic conditions are quite favorable for annual and perennial trees, especially the cultivation of fruit trees.

3. FOREST RESOURCES

Most of the forest area is planted with weeping paperbarks, khaya wood, Hopea odorata, Afzelia xylocarpa, and others.

Economic efficiency: these trees supply timber, firewood, air-condition, prevent wind and storms, and regulate water and forests and they are also a habitat for plants and animals and a place for storing rare genetic resources.

4. MINERAL RESOURCES

The basalt red soil is favorable for the development of industrial crops, especially such fruit trees as durians, rambutans, mangosteen, and so on.

Currently, service providers like Viettel, Vnpt, Fpt, and so on are providing wide-scale Internet services all over the ward and there are 5 Internet points. Also, the telecommunication network has a wide coverage, and Phu Binh also has a radio system with 16 speakers in 2 neighborhoods; 8,000 fixed telephone and mobile phone subscribers; 1,423 telephones/ 1,221 households.

6. TRAFFIC

The People’s Committee of Phu Binh ward is located by Highway No. 1, in Quarter 1, Phu Binh ward, Long Khanh town, Dong Nai province.
