​1. INDUSTRY

The business and production activities of some outstanding enterprises: Xuan Hoa’s small industry and handicrafts has developed strongly, especially 34 facilities of garment and food processing whose production value increases steadily by 8 to 9 % over the same period last year, and the value reached VND130.87 billion. Xuan Hoa’s businesses have focused on their production activities and basically met the public needs.

2. AGRICULTURE - FORESTRY - FISHERY

Agriculture: Xuan Hoa’s agricultural land area is 130.43 ha, accounting for 59.63%. Xuan Hoa’s fruit trees are mainly rambutans, durians, jackfruits, mangosteens, longans, bananas, and coconut and its cultivation of mushroom and vegetables has also developed strongly. Xuan Hoa is a ward in the center of Long Khanh town; therefore, it has to follow the guidelines of relocating livestock activities out of residential areas. Currently, Xuan Hoa has only a few livestock households in quarter 2 and 5. Xuan Hoa’s production value in 2016 reached VND6.31 billion.

3. SERVICES - TRADE - TOURISM

Trade and services: Xuan Hoa has a total number of 2,200 laborers, and this is its strength, accounting for 63.3% of its economic structure. Xuan Hoa’s annual production value increased by 18% to 19%, and in 2016 the value attained VND227.675 billion. Xuan Hoa has the Vuon Dau park, which is still in the process of construction and completion.

4. EDUCATION

Xuan Hoa has 3 schools with sub-Party organs including Long Khanh primary school, and An Binh and Hoa Hong kindergartens.

The total number of teachers is 123.

The total number of students is more than 2,000.

Xuan Hoa has maintained effective teaching and learning activities a good rate of good students. Long Khanh primary school and An Binh kindergarten have met the national standards for level 1. Also, Xuan Hoa is a ward that has met the requirements for its educational universalization of primary and secondary education.

5. HEALTH

Xuan Hoa’s medical station has 5 sick beds for its medical examination and treatment, and 7 medical assistants. The station has given a good medical examination and treatment to the people in the ward. For many years, Xuan Hoa’s medical station has been recognized to satisfy all the national health standards.

6. CULTURE

Currently, Xuan Hoa has 5 cultural houses and its cultural, musical and sporty activities have been able to meet people’s spiritual needs. Also, Xuan Hoa has completed its dissemination of propaganda activities and met its political tasks effectively.
