1. GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION

Xuan An is located to the south of Long Khanh town center and 55 km from Bien Hoa city.

Xuan An’s natural land area is 141.92 ha, accounting for 0.78% of the total land area of Long Khanh town.

- Xuan An borders on Xuan Trung ward in Long Khanh town, Dong Nai province to the north;

- Xuan An borders on Xuan Hoa ward, in Long Khanh town, Dong Nai province to the south;

- Xuan An borders on Xuan Binh ward in Long Khanh town, Dong Nai province to the west;

- Xuan An borders on Xuan Thanh ward in Long Khanh town, Dong Nai province to the east.

2. ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS

Xuan An is divided into 6 quarters: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and is the first – class ward.

3. TERRAIN

Xuan An’s terrain is concentrated and relatively flat, which facilitates the development of industries towards industrialization and modernization.

4. CLIMATE

Xuan An has a tropical monsoon climate near the equator, so its climate is quite moderate and cool. Xuan An has two distinct seasons: rainy and dry seasons.

Xuan An’s rainy season is from May to November.

Xuan An’s dry season is from December to April next year.

Average humidity: 85 - 90%.

Average temperature: 25 – 30 Celsius degrees.

Highest temperature: 35 Celsius degrees.

Lowest temperature: 20 Celsius degrees.

5. HISTORY AND CULTURE

Xuan An was established on May 11, 2008.

Xuan An has a cluster of historical relics of Xuan Loc temple and Xuan Hoa pagoda, which is one of the province’s historic revolutionary sites between the late 18th century and the early 19th century.

6. POPULATION

Total population: 14,152 people.

Total number of households: 3,268. Ethnic minority groups: Kinh, Choro, Chinese, Khmer, and so on.

Religions: Buddhism, Christianity, and Protestantism.
