The medical station of Trung Hoa commune in Trang Bom district is built on a spacious, clean and beautiful area

Trung Hoa commune’s medical station was newly built where the old station was and it has been put into operation since July, 2019 with 14 functional rooms and it is fully equipped with all the devices for medical examination and treatment such as ultrasound, ECG, blood glucose meter, urine tester, and so on.

Determining building green, clean, beautiful, and environmentally-friendly medical facilities as one of the important tasks to contribute to improving medical services and the public health, the medical station has, over the past years, focused on keeping hygiene and controlling infection as well as ensuring clean toilets to prevent the spread of dangerous diseases as people come for medical examination and treatment.

In particular, the station has paid a great attention to planting a lot of green trees and creating a sense of comfort for those who come for medical examination and treatment. Also, the station’s leaders have called for all its staff and medical workers in villages and hamlets to join hands in planting trees and creating environmental landscape. In just a short period of time, the station has planted a lot of medicinal plants, exceeding the number of plants set by the Ministry of Health to service people. In addition, the station has planted a green vegetables garden for its staff whenever they have to be on duty.

Doctor Nguyen Van Hiep, Head of Trung Hoa commune’s medical station, the station has integrated its construction of green, clean and beautiful medical facilities with emulation movements; building a civilized lifestyle; a smoke-free medical station; improving medical ethics and treatment; segregating domestic and medical wastes at source; building a clean water system for people as well as health workers; and reminding the medical staff to be aware of environmental protection, and occupational safety and health. Simultaneously, it is essential to promote the dissemination of propaganda information to patients and their family members to help keep hygiene, say no to smoking, and cooperate with health workers in focusing on building a green, clean and beautiful natural environment.

The herbal medicinal plant garden is planted by the staff of Trung Hoa commune’s medical station

Every week, all the station’s staff spends 1 hour after work to clean up the station, prune trees and plant more trees in the station’s garden.

In addition to building green, clean and beautiful facilities, the station always upholds its of service to patients. Ms. Hoang Thi Lan, a doctor of Trung Hoa commune’s medical station, said: “In order to attract people to medical examination and treatment, we not only need to improve our professional skills and create a clean and beautiful environment space but are always open and gentle in communication to make patients feel satisfied when they are here”

Ms. Tran Thi Thin aged 54 in Trung Hoa commune, who came to Trung Hoa commune’s medical station, said: “When I came here for medical examination, I found that the station’s medical staff was very enthusiastic and friendly and the station’s campus is planted with a lot of trees, which creates a feeling of comfort, coolness, and comfort”.

Thanks to renovation to create a green, clean and beautiful facility and the improvement of medical examination and treatment and the spirit of service to people, in the first months of 2020 despite the impact of the COVID – 19 pandemic the station’s activities like give medical examination and treatment and immunization services at the station all met over 50% of the target, exceeding plans. In addition, in terms of inspections on how its implements national health criteria, the station is always assessed to complete programs well, achieve high results, perform programs effectively and score high marks by the medical center of Trang Bom district.
