The synchronous investment in infrastructure has
created favorable conditions for the district Party Committee to focus on

industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas in the
direction of increasing productivity, quality, value, on the basis of scientific

to now, areas specialized in growing vegetables, tubers and fruits of all kinds

service sectors in the area, contributing to economic growth and shifting

trade - service and agriculture). In the past term, the production value of

2015 to VND 68.4 million in 2020.
According to the Resolution of the District Party
Congress for the term 2020 - 2025, Thong Nhat district sets a target with a
number of major targets such as: the production value of the agriculture,
forestry and fishery sector in the period 2020 - 2025 will increase from 4 -
4.5%; production value of industry - construction increases by 20% on average;
the average growth rate of the trade and service industry is from 16.5 to 17%;
the annual budget revenue reaches the provincial assigned target; per capita
income by 2025 will reach over 80 million VND / person / year; strive for 100%
of the communes to reach the standards of newly improved rural areas; building 5
model residential areas, building Dau Giay town up to the standards of
civilization; Thong Nhat district has reached the standards of newly improved
rural areas; maintain 100% of daily-life solid waste collection and treatment;
strive to increase the rate of schools meeting national standards to over 89% by
2025; to strive every year to have from 85% of Party grassroots organizations
achieving the level of good completion of their tasks; develop party members
annually to reach resolutions assigned by the province ... etc ...
To implement the set target, Thong Nhat district
identifies three breakthrough stages, which are: Promote administrative
procedure reform; to build a contingent of cadres and civil servants from
district to grassroots levels, especially key cadres with ethical qualities,
qualifications, capacities, pioneers, exemplars, responsibilities, on par with
their duties; improve employee satisfaction with government. Focusing on
investment in key infrastructure projects, in which traffic infrastructure is
concentrated in order to attract economic sectors to invest in construction in
the district. Promote the development of trade in services, focusing on the
development of trade through the system of wholesale markets for agricultural
products and foodstuffs. In addition, the district will promote agricultural
production in association with restructuring the industry towards safety in
