Locals have actively participated in production and labor movements to help each other to earn more income

The results have been achieved thanks to the fact that the commune has done well in mobilizing people, building and replicating effective mobilization models, thereby disseminating and calling for people to uphold their spirit of solidarity and respond to and participate in labor and production movements to help each other increase income, build a healthy cultural life, and so on.

According to the report of the commune’s People’s Committee, thanks to the implementation of the emulation movement for effective people mobilization in the commune in the past 10 years (2009-2019), all the aspects of economic and social life have received people’s agreement and achieved increasingly positive results. In the field of economics, there are models and typical models of effective people mobilization like “The model of members good at production activities”; “The model of planting cashew and coffee trees”, “The model of planting fruit trees”, “The model of growing vegetables applying science and technology advances in production, using VAC and water-dripping technology”; “The model of combining production and livestock and using a water-dripping technology of the commune’s Association of Farmers”; “The model of cooperative groups and veterans good at doing business”; “The model of youth settling and following a career”; “The model of following uncle Ho’s example, saving to set up the sub-Association’s fund, making loans to the Association at a low interest rate to invest in economic development and escape poverty in  a sustainable way of the commune’s Association of Veterans and so on. Also, people’s active participation has been attracted; people are called for to fulfill their tax obligations to the State; scientific and technical advances are applied to production to promote economic development and increase laborers’ income; there are a lot of effective and creative ways to mobilize people’s active participation like making contributions, donating land and labor force, constructing new countryside and so on.

With the motto of “People know, people discuss, people do, and people check” and thanks to the cleverness in campaigning activities many constructions for people’s livelihood and local economic development have contributed to implementing the task of economic development, thereby making changes in peoples’ awareness, encouraging all economic sectors’ active participation and development for a better and better life.

There are the models of effective people mobilization in the construction of new countryside like the models of “Roads under youth’s management”, “Youth settle and start their career”, and “Youth of Xuan Tay are proactive to participate in the construction of new countryside” of the commune’s youth union; the models of “Light, green, clean, beautiful, safe and civilized roads” of the commune’s association of veterans; and so on have made positive changes to contribute to changing rural face and improving people’s life. Since 2009, the models of effective people mobilization have called for people to voluntarily to contribute over VND30 billion, and donate land, and renew, repair and upgrade more than 100 km of water channels and 155 km of roads. In the countryside. In terms of economic development, hunger eradication and poverty alleviation, models of effective people mobilization have offered more than 3,000 poor households materials and workdays and helped them to consume their products and farming households to escape poverty, rise and stabilize their lives.

In the field of culture and society, the movement of effective people mobilization focuses on such key tasks as managing and upgrading rural roads, health, education, social security, and so on. The achieved results have contributed to improving people’s materialistic and spiritual life, building and creating people’s trust in levels of Party Committees, authorities, Fatherland Front Committees and unions in the commune through typical movements like “All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas”, “All people unite to build new countryside and civilized cities”; “Day for the Poor”; “Green - Clean - Beautiful - Safe – Civilized”; “Cultural gateways”; “Women are active to learn, work, create, and build a happy family”; and so on.

For the implementation of the national target program of hunger eradication and poverty alleviation, in addition to development support policies like borrowing loans from Social Policy Bank promoting the role of effective people mobilization movements has been paid attention to through typical activities such as the establishment of “Friendship Fund”, “For the Poor Fund”, “Piggy Bank”, “Women Help Each Other to Increase Income”, and so on. In the past 10 years, 13,142 gifts worth VND3,935 billion have been offered; over VND2 billion has been raised for “For the Poor Fund”; 166 houses of compassion and friendship worth VND5,706 billion have been built and repaired, thereby contributing to improving people’s materialistic, cultural and spiritual life, ensuring social security, eliminating old-fashioned customs and dealing with a lot of difficult tasks for local socio-economic development.

In the field of national defense and security, the commune’s Military Command and Public Security have actively coordinated with the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to disseminate  propaganda activities and raise the public awareness of the Party and the State’s guidelines, policies, and laws of the State; mobilize people to well perform entire people’s national defense; establish self-management groups of security and order; install CCTV in hamlets 1, 7, 8, and 10; and 5 clubs of preventing crime and social evils. For example, 35 roads of lighting, security, and order to strengthen the “All people protect national security” movement have contributed to effectively struggling against types of crime, creating conditions for local cultural and socio-economic development.

Besides, the models of effective people mobilization that are associated with the implementation of the grassroots democracy regulations and the construction and reinforcement of the Party together with the enhancement of administrative reform, especially administrative procedures have achieved a lot of positive results.

The leader of the People’s Committee of Xuan Tay commune said, in the coming time the commune will continue to disseminate propaganda activities; fully grasp and carry out the Party’s directives and resolutions, especially the ideology of President Ho Chi Minh of mobilizing masses; strengthen the people mobilization tasks of the political system; launch and implement socio-economic development programs and plans effectively; improve people’s materialistic and spiritual life; fully grasp people’s thoughts and aspirations regularly and promptly detect and resolve arising problems to prevent the occurrence of hot spots, which affects local security and order; associate the implementation of the emulation movements of effective people mobilization with the implementation of the movements of patriotic emulation, studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style; and build a great unity bloc. In particular, it is necessary to continue expanding the models and examples of effective people mobilization in all aspects of social life; actively have exchanges and share experience to improve movements.
