The objects that are reflected in
these entries are the collectives and individuals in all sectors and fields. A
lot of entries focused on reflecting the following the moral example and style
of President Ho Chi Minh through particular examples.
As a result, over the qualifying, preliminary, and final rounds Organizers and
Judge Panel selected the works with the highest quality for 4 categories.
Specifically, in terms of the journalism category in group A for officials and
civil servants, the first prize went to the author Thanh Thuy from Dong Nai
Newspaper with the work of “Uncle Ho in the mind of the Southern region people”;
the second prize belonged to the journalists of the Culture – Society division
at Dong Nai Newspaper with the work of “Anyone can learn from Uncle Ho”.
In group B for the masses, the first
prize went to the author Do Hung Thu in An Phuoc commune, Long Thanh district
with the work of “All for the people; the second prize belonged to Nguyen Thi
Thanh An from class 10A1 in Nguyen Binh Khiem middle school in Nhon Trach
district with the work of “Nguyen Thi Kieu Diem – the shining examples for
sacrifice and a rising spirit.
In terms of the prose category, the
first prize went to the author Doan Thi Thanh Nga from the Protection Forest
Management in Long Thanh district with the work of “Two generations”; the second
prize belonged to the author Ho Thi Thanh from Mac Dinh Chi elementary school in
Suoi Cat commune, Xuan Loc district with the work of “My father”.
In terms of the poetry category,
there was not the first prize; the second prize belonged to the author Nguyen
Huu Xuan Tung in Tan Mai ward, Bien Hoa city with the work of “His story”.
In terms of the music category, the
second prize went to the author Cao Hong Son in Trung Dung ward, Bien Hoa city
with the work of “My fatherland and soldiers”.
In addition, for each category Organizers awarded two second runner-up prizes, 3
consolation prizes; and two outstanding group prizes and honored 4 outstanding
works of folk songs.
On the evening of May 19, Organizers will award the prizes to the winning works
on the occasion of the 124th Birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, which is held in
Tran Bien Temple of Literature.
