As a commune of Tan Phu mountainous agricultural
district, thanks to maximizing its geographical advantages, Phu Lam commune has
an economic structure that suits local characteristics. Commercial and service
sectors account for a large proportion in the commune and are developing on a

Trading and Services Cooperative, said: “Along with the investment in the
construction and upgrading of kiosks, we also regularly check and remind small

quality goods, and keep hygiene during the trading process. Thanks to this,
Phuong Lam market has reached the standard of a civilized market.
According to the leadership of Phuong Lam commune,
there are more than 1,600 facilities that are operating in trade and services,
and small industry and handicrafts. The main source of income of the commune’s
residents is from commerce, services and agriculture. The average income per
capita is more than VND62 million per year and it is expected that in 2019 this
figure will reach VND68 million to become among the top income earners ing Tan
Phu district.
