As a result, 17 cooperatives including 1
construction cooperative, 3 small industry and handicrafts cooperatives, and 2
trading and services cooperatives, accounting for 51.5% of the annual plan. Up
to now, there have been 399 cooperatives, People’s Credit Funds and 1
cooperative union. In addition, there are 1,158 clubs and cooperative groups in
the province, up by 12 cooperative groups compared to 2018.
The cooperative activities are maintained and
developed, gradually moving towards multi-function. The number of effective
cooperatives has increased. A lot of cooperatives have boldly invested in
expanding and improving the supply of services for member households. Currently,
among the 19 large field projects that have been okayed by the provincial
People’s Committee, 12 others are owned by cooperatives. Chains have benefited
from the policies to encourage and develop cooperation and production links
associated with the consumption of agricultural products and the creation of
large fields, and policies to help with production and consumption links for the
province’s agricultural products.
In order to complete the goals and major tasks for
collective economic development in the last 6 months of 2019, Vice Chairman of
the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung asked departments, sectors
and localities to disseminate the guidelines and policies of the Party and the
State came to a large number of subjects in various forms: implementing the
tasks and solutions of collective and cooperative economic development
effectively; cooperative union’s coordination with departments, sectors and
People’s Committees of districts and cities to call for the establishment of new
cooperatives according to 2019 targets; and disseminate propaganda activities to
build an agricultural cooperative model towards modernization.
