As one of the most far-flung, hard-to-access, and difficult communes of ​​the province, thanks to the National Target Program on Building New Countryside up to now the materialistic and spiritual life of the people in Nam Cat Tien commune in Tan Phu have been constantly improved and the infrastructure system is increasingly upgraded. In particular, the most noticeable thing is that the inter-hamlet roads in this far-flung commune have been asphalted, concreted and made “green-clean-beautiful-beautiful”.


Nam Cat Tien can be said to be a commune that performs the “bright-green-clean-beautiful” movements on local rural roads. This is the leading locality in Tan Phu district in terms of transport criteria when reaching 100% of the targets of commune axis roads, hamlet roads, alleys and inner main roads with 100% being asphalted and concreted. Mr. Tran Van Duy, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Nam Cat Tien commune, said: “In order to implement the movement of light - green - clean - beautiful roads, communal authorities have assigned unions to manage, clean up and take care of flowers and plants along these roads. Also, every month a clean Sunday campaign to call for unions and people to clean up roads is chosen, thereby having significantly changed the appearance of the countryside.

 

Ms. Bui Thi Anh, a resident living hamlet 2, Nam Cat Tien commune shared: “The State invests in building clean and beautiful roads, which are very convenient for people to travel. Our people are also responsible for cleaning up and planting flowers on both sides of the road to make them more and more beautiful. ”

 

Mr. Nguyen Hai Tao, a resident living in hamlet 2, Nam Cat Tien commune, said, every week his neighbor participates in the ‘Green Sunday” campaign to join hands in cleaning up roads, installing more lighting systems to help people’s travel more convenient, thereby helping to guarantee social safety and order.

 

The movement of cleaning up the rural environment and planting trees along roads and areas before and then around houses has gone into order; created habit for rural people in preserving and ensuring the environment is always bright - green - clean - beautiful.
