Tourists are exploring Bau Sau Ramsar in Cat Tien
National Park
With a mountainous terrain and gentle wavy hills, a
diverse terrain and a favorable climate for plants to grow and develop, Nam Cat
Tien commune is also a place with a cross-culture as there are 7 ethnic minority
groups living together. This is a basis for formation and development of local
community-based tourism. In fact, in the past 5 years local community-based
tourism has been developing strongly in Nam Cat Tien, attracting a lot of
domestic and foreign tourists to visit and explore.
Ms. Nicolai Klepackova, a tourist from the Czech
Republic said: “Before coming to Nam Cat Tien, I searched for the information on
the Internet, but after a real exploration I find this area very interesting and
attractive. Especially, the nature is very pristine and indigenous and people
are extremely hospitable”.
A German tourist said: “This is my first visit to
Vietnam but I really love it. Nature here is wild and I can mix with nature,
participate in many games and enjoy a lot of interesting activities. I will
definitely return to this land for sure.”

Park
Mr. Truong Cong Vung, Director of Nam Cat Tien Green
One-Member Limited Company in Nam Cat Tien commune said, at present some tourist
models such as going canoeing along Dong Nai river, riding bullock carts, taking
bicycle tours, going forest trekking, combining visiting Cat Tien National Park
with learning about local residents’ customs and daily life and so on are
attracting more and more tourists, especially foreign tourists. Of 4,000,000
visitors staying at the Green Bamboo Resort every year, up to 75% are foreign
tourists. If these advantages are taken effectively, the potential will
contribute to generating jobs and improving local residents’ income.
At present, there are 3 big tourist attraction and
about 10 small and medium-sized accommodation points to meet tourists’ demand in
Nam Cat Tien commune. Such places have contributed to generating jobs and
increasing the income of hundreds of local workers.
