According to the provincial People’s Committee, Dong Nai is implementing 12 projects on domestic wastewater treatment and drainage for districts and Bien Hoa and Long Khanh cities. The above-mentioned projects have a total investment capital of about VND8.6 trillion and these projects are included in the province’s medium-term public investment plans for the 2016-2020 period and the next period. Particularly in 2020, the provincial People’s Committee will spend about VND313 billion of the budget on disbursing the province’s wastewater treatment and drainage projects. The above projects have a construction period of 2 to 5 years according to each project’s scale.
Necessary to focus on the wastewater treatment infrastructure in Bien Hoa city The projects with a large total investment capital are the drainage and wastewater treatment system of Bien Hoa city with over VND6.6 trillion; the drainage system in Nuoc Trong stream area in Long Thanh district and Bien Hoa city worth nearly VND585 billion; the drainage route of the green tree strip in Nhon Trach district worth over VND310 billion; the Cai stream flood control project in Long Khanh city worth VND335 billion; and the drainage and wastewater treatment system in Long Thanh township worth VND107 billion; and so on.
